Welcome to my website / I'm a professional one-man-shop-artisan-luthier based in Ghent, Belgium.
I design and make unique and particularly well sounding instruments: after all, some architectural elements and shapes — inspired by bauhaus, minimalism, wabi sabi, by african and japanese art, by simple functionality and natural materials — do not stand alone but are mostly related to the intended sound properties of the different models. A challenging marriage of form and function

PRESENTATION: J'ai eu ma formation en lutherie à la célèbre école «CMB» en Belgique, où j'ai cumule en suite 25 ans d’expérience en tant que professeur de construction de guitares. J'avais très tôt eu la chance, l’honneur et le plaisir de travailler pour de grands noms dans le monde du jazz et rapidement établi une réputation solide. En tant que membre fondateur du projet >Leonardo Guitar Research< (LGRP), j'ai acquis une expérience considérable en matière d’utilisation de bois alternatifs locaux et non tropicaux dans la fabrication de guitares. Les dernieres années je me suis concentré sur la création de nouveaux designs, en fabriquant à la main un nombre limité d’instruments uniques, chacun possédant ses propres caractéristiques visuelles et sonores.

Hallo ! Ik ben professioneel gitaarbouwer gevestigd in Gent, (Vlaanderen, België). Ik ontwerp en bouw unieke instrumenten. Je kan ze eventueel uittesten in mijn atelier (enkel op afspraak).
